Not so Small Ground today

For our 2nd match of the week, we travel to Swansea for a Championship match against the Boro. Obviously this is the best stadium of things to sort out obviously as you would expect with a big championship and former premier League club, crowds decent lots of space lots of facilities.
2 car parks nearby both chocker,so it will take us a while to get out

It's the first time we have been back here since September, the Swans were dire that day against Stoke and it looked like it may be the same again after a slightly dull 1st 45. However both Martian & Wilder must have had a few choice words as both teams came out fighting in the 2nd half- Boro took an early lead on 46mins with a well taken McGree goal, then Swansea hit back almost immediately with a Obafemi strike.

There could and probably should have been more goals, both teams hitting the woodwork and the Boro keeper making a few good saves. All in all a decent game and a fair result.

It was nice to see Duncan Watmore play again. He played at Sunderland for a number of years and always had potential but we could never keep him fit, Boro have done a mutch better job. He played almost as many games in 2 seasons at the Riverside as he did in 5 seasons at the SOL.
Paddy McNair, is also an ex Sunderland player, who also had potential but left us after getting relegated from the Championship.

A decent crowd of just over 18000 (and it did take a while get out of the car park).

I like Swansea as a club, the fans are funny and take the mick out of themselves, they sing some interesting songs and they are very proud of their heritage and more importantly their future. They paraded 3 new academy signings before the match and the crowd were very supportive. The only thing I have an issue with is the renaming of the stadium, it's been the Liberty since it was built in 2005 but last season, the council sponsored the ground and it's been renamed Swansea.com Stadium, which feels, well, commercial, which I get but still.
