Okehampton Argyle F.C

My home town club Okehampton Argyle was formed in 1926 by a group of railworkers from Okehampton and they play in simmons park. 

The club, like Polperro and Holsworthy has a stand and two dugouts. In this photograph we are looking across the pitch towards the training pitches and the devon country side. 

Back in August the club house went under referbishment. These photographs were mainly taken for artistic purposes, as I took them as part of my photography project during the fourth unit of my course.  As part of this project I was looking at football clubs throughout Devon & Cornwall and how they fitted into the community.
